Did Peter just happen to be there or someone/something caused him to be at that exact moment..? Hm

Trontes mom is Agnes. About the ending "welcome to the future", don't even sweat it. I get what you're saying, but like Ashley I believe it's deliberate. This whole series was carefully and meticulously plotted out as a trilogy by a husband and wife duo Jantje (writer) and Baran (director) and they wrote and directed every single ep in the entire series. So any filming or directing choices made, even if they feel weird in the moment, are all deliberate and will make sense in the overall series. Dark is one of the most dense and masterfully crafted series out there. Looking forward to season 2..buckle up lol Thanks Jimmy!

"Welcome to the future." was too on the nose. I agree. Very telly. The futuristic flying vehicle was enough of a clue. Although, and I don't remember at all, it's possible the person who said the line knows about Jonas?

🤔 Well I just Remember being shocked and we all were “WTF!” It did feel jarring in a sense. It does feel out of place, but I think it is intended. Want to feel how Jonas does. Maybe the purposeful jarring just landed for you differently. Like that line. My group had a different response to that line. We 🤦🏼♀️ at how we should’ve seen 33 years into the future coming. We knew all the talk about Chernobyl was not throwaway. And when Old Father Time asked the Stranger what the future was like…his answer seemed to imply BLEAK. He and Claudia always looked RAGGED. Homeless. ❄️ “Welcome to the Future” —
We just were trying to theorize OK so she obviously knows Jonas is from the past! What happened to her face? Who is she? You start playing the “whose daughter could she be game.”
And how the apocalypse happened? When? Who lived? Who died? Etc.
Watched television shows that felt like a new director came in and threw out the producers Bible and reinvented for an episode. And strictly for me, I thought this was an intentional emotion for it to come off wildly different than the rest of the show. Hopefully it doesnt hold u back.
Ps 📝you missed an evident group that would’ve seen police cubbing in Germany. Egon looks like he stepped out of Hitler Youth . It’s 1953. He would have been in some version of Swastika less than a decade ago. 👀
