TBH I'm not sure why the Avatar state overrides bloodbending. This is a power boost that grants knowledge from past Avatars. Bloodbending was invented by Hama in ATLA so no previous Avatar knows about it. Aang never learnt it and he shouldn't need to go into the Avatar state if he did anyway. It's one of the things I don't like, they treat the Avatar state like Super Saiyan now, and it was more complex than that.

2024-06-12 00:23:48 +0000 UTCAvatars can learn sub-bendings like metal but don't tend to be very good at it since they already have to focus on 4 elements that take a lot of practice. But it's not impossible. That cage might be platinum though. Even Toph can't bend that.
