One of the best sci fi horror movies ever made...the practical effects were 2nd to none...rob bottin was a master of his craft....the detail in the make up effects were fantastic...like when the dog starts to transform and tries to absorb the other dogs when that flower comes out of it before they burn it the flower itself is made up of dogs tongues and teeth....excellent detaling....yeah the 2011 movie is a prequel to this and it explains what happend at the Norwegian camp....worth a look guys

2024-10-26 08:53:49 +0000 UTCThe Thing that was made in 2011 is a prequel to the orginal film that you guys have just now watched it fills in the missing plot of what happened to the scientist at the place they visited. The 2011 film is not a remake just to clear that up :)
