Idk, if he he gave up his citizenship and became a German citizen and fought for Germany in WW2 and then surrendered he would fall under the geneva convention as a prisoner of war.

We are at the scene with Malarkey and the American born German. I'm sure I do not win a popular vote on what I believe, but I stand by what I'm about to say. An American born German travels to Germany to fight for Hitler? "All true Aryan's "? I have a serious problem with that. Newspapers across the world were filled with what German was doing to the Jewish people. I'm not talking about the Holocaust, that came later. The Nazis took everything from these people. Homes, food, medical, clothing, etc. An forced them to live in slums. So as far as I'm concerned, he's a traitor, it's an act of treason, and he deserves what he gets.

2024-12-02 08:30:40 +0000 UTCYeah afew people were wondering in the show "did you see LT meehan"....him and his men in stick 66 were shot down and the pilot of the C-47 tried to land the plane safely but the damage was too great and the plane hit a hedgerow and exploded killing everyone on board...the wreckage burned for 3 days and the plane was not recovered till the 1950's....the last thing LT Meehan did was write a letter to his wife anne and he handed it out the door of his plane before take off....always wondered if we are related in some way seeing we have the same surname???....more than likely probably not....but you never know.
