2024-10-10 21:12:09 +0000 UTCI was surprised by how unmoved you were by that scare. I've seen this Episode with others on three different ocassions and every single time they freaked out. Episodes 4 - 6 are the best, but 8 - 10 are about as good.

2024-10-09 04:02:03 +0000 UTCReally excited for you to see the final two episodes. But this one is indeed great, and that "witness marks" conversation is a perfect example, as you noted. It also recontextualizes a lot of things. Take the first episode, called "Steve Sees a Ghost". There are so many moments in there that feel differently knowing what Steve has really been seeing all this time. Or how in a different episode, during a flashback he mentioned Luke being "in the treehouse" and the person he was talking to was confused and said "where?" but it happens so quick you don't think anything of it the first time.

"I never built you kids a tree house" shooook me. and it brought a newfound empathy for the family, because normally in this genre the family just ignores all the weird stuff right up until the brutal stuff, but this family wasn't in the house for that long! Barely 8 weeks. The house was trying to speedrun them lmao
