See No Evil: Next Multicross Character Tipper Poll
Added 2021-02-21 16:41:38 +0000 UTCRemember when See No Evil was meant to be a waifu fic? Pepperidge farm remembers. It's long overdue -- originally, the plan was to use my picks first to establish a central team for Vergil and Lowtown, but out of my five multicross picks, only one has appeared so far.
So, I decided to mix things up.
To that end -- Vergil will gain a secretary to help him manage both his legal endeavors as well as his less than legal endeavors. There are four choices -- two good, and two bad. The two good can aid more directly in Vergil's legal side of business and, naturally, the two bad can help with the illegal side of things. That being said, each character brings something unique to the table which I will highlight during the blurb about them.
2B (Neir: Automata): 2B will be taken during the opening mission right after activating her Blackbox with 9S. Her body will be found by the dump and a group of homeless people brings her to Vergil in case he could do something with the android. 2B is repaired and dedicates herself to Lowtown upon seeing that it is filled with Humanity.
2B has the capacity of being mass-produced, though with lesser models, making Sainthood Enterprises a robotics powerhouse in addition to being a midtier fighter with the potential to being high tier.
Mash Kyrielight (Fate Grand Order): Mash will be taken during the first anomaly when the bomb goes off. She ends up on the streets before she's led to Lowtown. Circumstances force her hands to reveal her Servant Shielder powers, and she is then recruited to protect Lowtown and Vergil by Tifa.
Mash will be a more traditional secretary/bodyguard, but as she further masters her powers, Superman will break his fists on Lord Camelot.
Nico Robin (One Piece): It's Robin from before her time in the Strawhats. She approaches Lowtown with the understanding that Lowtown is a growing criminal powerhouse and looks to endear herself to Vergil. She becomes his secretary, then an advisor using her experience as a crime-boss, criminal assassin, and a lifetime on the run.
Nico Robin has her devil fruit abilities -- granting her a range of abilities, allowing her to eavesdrop and assassinate Lowtown's enemies with ease.
Miranda Lawson (Mass Effect): Miranda Lawson is a YJ native on the run from her incredibly rich and incredibly controlling father. She flees to Gotham city, looking to blend in when she finds Lowtown and lays low there. Seeing Vergil as a growing power, she aims to use her abilities as a biotic, her looks, and her natural intelligence to secure a position as Vergil's secretary with the intention of using him to protect her from her father.
Miranda Lawson has her abilities as a biotic, making her a heavy hitter in the world of Young Justice. In addition, she had her management skills and a lack of scruples, making her an excellent secretary for both legal and illegal activities.
Comments
She from the young justice universe. She won't have any of that.

2021-02-24 03:40:55 +0000 UTCDefinitely feel Nico would be Best Girl, second only to Cass. Image how world shatteringly amazing escaping to another world would be for her, while also being soul-crushingly depressing. She is finally, truly free of the WG, but the trade off is that it is (possibly) impossible for her to ever complete her dream of uncovering the Void Century.

2021-02-24 03:38:44 +0000 UTCNico Robin just seems like a super obvious choice. Why is she not winning? She’s got the skills, she can easily handle combat at the level we’re expecting to deal with here, and best of all she’s actually a good person.

2021-02-22 03:27:41 +0000 UTCNico Robin just for the interactions she'd have with Cass

2021-02-22 00:53:32 +0000 UTCI was on team 2B until I saw Miranda Lawson. Then I voted for Miranda without reading the rest. Went back after reading and was like "wow that is a good setup. I like the introduction good sir."

2021-02-21 23:37:19 +0000 UTCI think 2B would be the most appropriate. The ability to mass produce androids for what ever purpose gives him the necessary man power to run both operations. The ability to change the function and appearance of the androids would allow him to cover himself on both fronts provided the androids err on the side of caution with their actions. Not to mention Using the cards, If I remember correctly he can copy things with his cards and impove them, could easily generate more advanced androids, even if he couldn't copy them. Or using the cards he could very easily upgrade any android with superior pod chips and physical parts leading 2B and every other androids to reach greater heights then were ever reached in game

2021-02-21 22:14:05 +0000 UTCMiranda is the clear Metagame option. Plus she has a big butt...it was obvious who was gonna win from min one.

2021-02-21 21:13:35 +0000 UTCI completely agree! I think a lot of people’s eyes just slid over the fact she’s not bringing in any mass effect tech, while nico robin is exactly what we need right now in story.

2021-02-21 20:17:55 +0000 UTCSo Miranda is clearly stated to be a YJ native. That means no Mass Effect tech will be available. You just get the genius biotic. Mash is just a young woman with no special experience or knowledge. Yes she could be a serious powerhouse defensively, but if you need her to do that then you have already messed up. 2B is interesting, but she is likely just another bit of super tech and once again doesn't have any knowledge or experience that could help. At the end of the day I think Nico Robin is the best bet simply because she can act as an advisor. Granted it also introduces the possibility of Haki being a thing which is a neat collection of super powers that anyone can ostensibly learn, but her real value is in her knowledge and her ability to scout things out.

2021-02-21 17:53:19 +0000 UTCMash and 2B seem the most helpful. Miranda comes with problems and I've never done One Piece.

2021-02-21 17:10:21 +0000 UTCUpdated my membership tier for more See No Evil goodness. I noticed there's 4 similar posts. That being said, I'm going for Mash because out of everyone in the poll, she's the one that's most out there in terms of skill set and I always like Fate stuff, especially when crossed with DC/Marvel because of how distinct both universes are.

2021-02-21 17:04:58 +0000 UTCMarinda... Should have some schematics within her omni-tool. Hell the Omni-tool itself is enough if it can be replicated with some degree. Better processers, Material Composition, pressure telegraphics, advanced VI. And a BIg One MEDAGEL

2021-02-21 16:54:33 +0000 UTCThere are so many good options to pick from! 2B with a future sexy robot army that makes us rich, Mash with the Anti-Brute package to save our squishy self, Robin with her "insta-kill" anyone with her neck/spine breaking hands + espionage, and Miranda being amazing at business and criminal intrigue. Why not all of them!
