Had a lot of fun pulling off the "semi transparent goo" but I really liked the result. It's a little darker than usual, but I hope you guys like the result =D

thanks! it was a really different concept to pull off but I really liked it in the end. It was a cool process to blend her with the enviroment =D

From the swirling mass of the background, to the slimy material wrapping over and gripping Kerrigan, to the already formed and semi-formed carapaces across her body as well as her skin, it all looks amazing! I really like the sharp edges of the spikes across her calves as well as how they blend into her skin at the base, while the sharp contrast between light and dark really shows off the edges and planes. I definitely like the levels of darkness and brightness throughout, having the edges of the painting dark with Kerrigan more well lit really helps her to pop out at the centre of it all. The contrasts between softer materials and the hardened parts of her armour are fantastic too. Brilliant work on this painting! 😄
