Le détail. C'est le soin du détail que j'aime tout particulièrement dans vos oeuvres. Ici une fois de plus nous sommes gâtés. Le bracelet, les cheveux, les tâches de rousseurs, les coussins pour que la pose soit agréable, les éclats du marbre, la bouteille elfique, la texture et la forme de la robe. Tout est là pour créer une ambiance de fin de journée paisible et le personnage est visiblement ravi d'en profiter. Le tout dans une profondeur très riche, depuis la plante au premier plan, la petite table, suivi du personnage, les autres bâtiments, la forêt et enfin ce ciel, rose. Est-ce voulu que les couleurs soient un dégradé du rose de la robe ? Il s'agit de restreindre la palette ou bien il s'agit d'un choix de lumière comme on peut en trouver au cinéma ? La fleur, le verre, les toits et le ciel, tout n'est que rose, plus ou moins clair, plus ou moins foncé. Même le marbre est plus rose que blanc. Bref de la profondeur, un climat, une histoire. Tout cela grâce au sens du détail. Derrière la beauté du dessin il y a une émotion à partager. Pour les grands peintres classiques on parlait volontiers d'une âme dans leur œuvres. C'est le cas ici.

Thanks! It was really cool to work on her. The pose was tricky to get it right, but once I got the anatomy right, it was a matter of getting the lightning correctly. There was also a few fixes during the process in terms of composition and placement of elements in the scene, so I included the flowers in the bottom part to balance out =) Overall it was a really interesting piece to work at and I'm really happy with the result!

Oh this is simply beautiful! I love these colours, everything looks so harmonious and tranquil with this overall gentle and warm tone throughout. And the level of detail throughout is insane. I love the sky's transition from a vibrant pink to the brighter tones of the clouds, the buildings in the background look great with their golden patterns winding around them as well as the sheen of the metal, the hints of the trees is a nice and very well done addition too. I'm particularly impressed by the wall/pillar that she's sitting on and resting against, the textures of the material with all of the cracks throughout looks fantastic, while the rigid and hard edges, as well as the pale stone each provide two contrasts with the softer and warmer forms of the Lady herself. Speaking of the Lady, she looks stunning! 😍😍😍 Just like with the background, she has an amazing level of detail to her, you never fail to impress in that regard. The strands of her hair all splitting apart look terrific and I'm particularly fond of those strands that sweep and curl towards her face. Her face too looks gorgeous with those distinct and shining green eyes 💚💚 and large, luscious lips. The rim lighting along her raised right arm as well as her raised calf really accentuates those areas and helps define her anatomy. He hand with the way the fingers bend, her shoulders and the muscle definition of her arms, the way her breasts wrap over her chest as well as the definition of her legs and feet are all brilliantly done. I especially like the way the shadows and small rim-lights define her lower foot and the foreshortening there and on her toes is amazing. I seriously can not get over how much I love her left arm and how the muscles are rendered as well as how it connects back to her body. And her dress is beautifully done too, the texture and shine of the materials, the way the folds ripple and crumple in on themselves in places is truly stunning, the lowest parts of the dress towards the lower right corner look photo-realistic. That is an insane level of skill! I truly can not do it justice. Absolutely fantastic work, I am legitimately blown away by how impressive and beautiful this is.
