I wanted to do her in a ship way back when they announced her story arc in Kul Tiras, and the recent animation provided the perfect setting/context for this image =D
I also wanted to create compositions with more "planes" of depth and a ship provided me the opportunity to do just that =)
So I hope you guys like it!

It's going to be pretty detailed by the time it's done, I'm sure and so I look forward to seeing that. I like Jaina's pose here and the angle that we view her from, seeing her face from below as she gazes out with a pensive expression. There also looks like there's going to be a tonne of detail to her clothes too which will be fun to see. I'll be eagerly awaiting the finished painting 😄
