Thanks! I decided to add some red in the outfit since it was too monochromatic and I thought it would give a nice touch. It was a bit trick to get the composition right because of contrast between the character and the background. It's night time but the character has to be visible enough .. or the background can't be bright enough =o. Usually this doesn't happen but the last ~10% of the drawing were really tricky to bring everything together lol

Oh I have been very eagerly anticipating this and the wait was most definitely worth it! 😻😻😻😻😻 I love the colours and background here, the black at the top with the contrasting white mist along the bottom sets up an appropriately spooky Halloween atmosphere. While Ivy's luminescent pale skin pops beautifully against the darkness of the sky and her own clothes, just as her dark purple lips contrast against her face. I really like that you made her lips purple too, keeping some of her traditional colour within this reaper themed pinup 😸. The red on the inside of her cape and hood also look fantastic, a gorgeous deep red that adds some contrasting warmth to the dark, cool tones. Your rendering here is as sensational as ever, Ivy's skull pauldron and spiked gauntlets, weapon and thigh-high all looking amazing with the curving planes of metal defined perfectly by the lighting and all incredibly detailed. The shining textures of the metal are amazing, especially the blade itself. Ivy's face is just beautiful, her hair has the ideal level of detail to it and her body, both the bare skin and clothed sections, look sensational, the anatomy that we see is so well rendered. And into love the bluish rim lighting that defines the dark parts of her hood. Brilliant work on this painting! I love the black, white and red colour scheme, the atmosphere and the insane level of detail that is so characteristic of your work. This will definitely be among my favourite works of yours 😸👏👏👏👏👏 I'm quite interested in seeing how you'll do the different versions for this piece, personally, I think a nude version with the hood and cape remaining could be very appealing 😉😻 (which reminds me, the definition of her right thigh showing through the meshed material and tinted black looks so good!)

It's possible to do a similar themed month, but disney princess are a delicate subject. Many of them have "child like" features, so doing an adult version draw a lot of unecessary "this is oversexualized" hate. So it's something I would have to be carefull about =o

I had a lot of influence from Blade and Soul and Asian references for the armor. I really like those asymetrical designs so I wanted to try something in those lines =D
