Tyrande - Preview
Added 2018-11-12 18:29:50 +0000 UTCHey everyone, here's the preview of Tyrande's image. I really liked the idea of the Night warrior theme, the ritual she goes through and all that. So I wanted to bring something a little more "bare" for this image.
Kinda like those shamanistic, tribal rituals, but still something that makes sense for the Night elves. So instead of going crazy on poses and angles, I wanted to emphasize a bit more on her "very pissed off" mood, something extremelly "calm yet raging inside". I think it's fitting for the scene.
And it's been a while since I drew transparency, wet clothes and all those fun things =D

thanks, I really liked the concept of this piece, so I'm very eager to work on it as well. I only need to make sure she's not overly "teasing" as to kill the purpose of the image =o

2018-11-13 04:43:16 +0000 UTCI will say right now, with no hyperbole or exaggeration that I firmly believe that this painting will be among my favourite works of yours 😻. I absolutely love the fierce and intense expression on Tyrande's face, while her pose, attire and surroundings are all so very sensual and even without colour and lighting, I get the feeling that this will have quite a mystical atmosphere to it that I have no doubt that I will enjoy. As for the pose, there's something so very alluring about the eye-contact that she makes with us as she stands there, thigh deep in the water, wet clothing draped across her largely naked body, clinging to her and teasing her, all while she delicately traces her extended fingers through the surface of the water. The positions of her fingers and how she moves them is something that I really like in this piece, it's also a nice touch to have both of her hands in different poses to one another. The indication of her hair looks great too as it falls around her face, strands of hair and her jewellery trailing around her breasts and I do love how her stomach is framed by the clothing with the material converging as it moves down her body, funneling our eye along with them. I am so very eager to see this piece finished, the colours will be amazing I'm sure (Tyrande herself is purple so I'm guaranteed to enjoy that 💜) and I'm interested in seeing how you handle the lighting and what kind of atmosphere the piece ends up having. And of course, that face will look so beautiful when fully rendered.
