Hey everyone, first of all I really appreciate the feedback you guys gave it on the survey, it really helps me better direct the content and see what can be improved.
While I'll be commenting the general idea of the results, it's tricky to get into super specific stuff because there was over 400 responses. So I'll adress the most common things brought up.
- Taking some time off and "resting"
I appreciate the concern that many of you voiced that I didn't seem to take time off to rest.
It's a bit of a weird spot for me because my routine is not the usual "go to work, have weekends, paid vacation once a year" regular type of deal. The relation of "hobby x work x relax" time is very mixed for me.
While I don't plan to take a full month off because quite honestly I get bored after a few days, I do try to take a week or two off each year (usually around xmas holidays etc) to reset my mind a bit. So don't worry, it's noted!
On a similar note, we are running on a more tight schedule for the past months because I'm in the process of moving to a different place. It's a process that started in may, and (hopefully) will be over now in november. It's an extremelly slow process around here between getting the place, all the paperwork, everything with the bank, the legal stuff etc. Now started the renovation of the place, etc.
So I often have to handle this kind of thing on week days which forces me to miss a work day here and there. For example I couldn't finish Lenore on friday because I spent most of the day choosing stuff for the kitchen because the material is needed early next week lol. But at the same time it's not something I can take a month's off and fix it, because it's an ongoing and lengthy proccess. Again I apologize for that, and hopefully everything will be back on track and not so close to the deadline, by the end of the year.
- Including past works in the timeline.
The idea here is quite simple. To include a single uncensored image of each pin-up (up until 2020) in low resolution a post to have it as a "archive". While I don't have any plans to make the actual rewards (hd versions, psd etc) available for free at any point so it doesn't devaluate them, I really don't see the harm of small versions as previews for people to see what happened in the past.
The vast majority of people here (93.1%) liked the idea (or simply don't mind it) so it's something I plan to work on this on the next month or so.
- Advertise the discord a bit better.
Apparently a lot of people were not aware we have one lol
- Polls. This is a tricky pony.
First off, this is something I'm not particularly happy about it either. And there were several complaints about the current stat of the polls. I'm going to make a post on it's own for this, because I have a few ideas in mind and this is already a lenghty post as it is. But I do have some changes in mind to adress some issues we are having with the polls.
Final thoughts.
Again I want to thank you all for doing the survey and taking your time to write suggestions, thank you notes, expressing your opinion and all that. It's really important to me that you guys are happy with what we have here. And while it's impossible to adress every single suggestion, the feedback gives me good idea on patterns, things people are happy (or not) with, things that could be improved or built upon.
So again thank you all for the support!
