Thank you! I had a few ideas in mind for her, but they all involved that "sweaty/messy back from action" idea. I did consider different angles, but the idea of having her brushing her hair out of face, being all messy and still looking sexy as hell was too good to pass =D Also, making her body more bulky allowed me to create something that's very rough (and she is a rough character at the end of the day), but still put in some raw feminine beauty. So I'm really happy with the result!

Thanks! It's one of those characters that's always fun to revisit from time to time, because there was a lot of versions over the years, and many different interpretations, so while she does have a "kit" (brunette, braid/ponytail, rough beauty etc), it also allows for the artist to make his own version of it. Personally, I prefer to work on characters that have more than one version, so I can cherrypick what I like on both, and add my own stuff to the mix =D

Something in the perspective, proportions and dutch angle combined bothers me, it's like a shot taken through a slightly anamorphic lens without a distortion correction, or like being under motion-sickness. Felt none of that with sketch though, so it's not the composition itself. Weird.

The original VG babe! I'm so glad that you went with one of her iconic outfits when she looked sexiest. Once again you showed a great knowledge of anatomy + you gave her a really nice muscle tone. Especially impressive are even the smallest details, like how her inner thigh muscles look on her right leg as she steps a bit forward. I love the way her legs look, tanned, glistening sweaty and strong! Really making those shorts stretch all over her just like her top. Ohh the top! Always one of the most exciting parts about her. It would be such a shame if you didn't go with something close to her classic body. I love it when you do big breasted characters and Lara Croft is undoubtedly the Queen of that category! There's a great sense of weight and depth to her chest the way it's pushed forward. It really pops out. You did an excellent job at working the light & shadows around them, really accentuating their size and forms inside the top and then teasing them further the way they are pressed and pushed up by the tight vest. The vest itself looks so good too. I like that it gives out the feeling of stretchy material and I like the dirt! I can't wait to get my hands on her file! I hope there's a topless version with a backpack on. I imagine it's very hot in there. This piece is such a nice present for me personally and what a way to finish the year! I'm always happy to see more art of her from you! This is Lara Croft as I love her! Sexy, athletic and wearing her iconic tight outfits. Thank you very much for this. On the side note, I like the popularization muscle & bust aesthetics in here that's been going on lately. Maybe it will bring more interest towards fighting game world in voting polls and bring more people here that like such body type. Thank you and happy new year!

Oh I really like the colours here! The background has this warm, humid feel to the colours and as always, all of the detail is utterly exquisite! I love the stone-work with it's patterned textures, cracks and indents and various plane changes throughout. The greenery is gorgeous too, as is the sky with it's subtle variations in tone. Lara herself looks utterly amazing of course, I love her messy hair and the many strands all splitting off and curling around her. The chocolate brown colour looks lovely and so much detail is rendered. Her clothes look terrific too, I really like the tight creases in her gloves and the shiny highlights in the material. The pourous textures of her blue vest are a great detail too, as is all of the dirt. You've done a great job defining her breasts through the material too, as the shadows wrap around their lower planes, with the warm light bathing them from above giving a great contrast. I really like her shorts too, I find their texture so painterly and appealing, especially the way the folds are rendered running across her thighs and pelvis. The details of seams and pockets are really nicely done too and the overall larger plane changes for her hips, thighs and pelvis all look terrific. The belt is excellent too and I just enjoy those little stitched seams running across it. Her entire body just looks breathtaking! The overall contrast in light and dark tones is fantastic, as is that wet texture across her, which pops especially on her arms, chest and abs. I love the muscle definition of her arms, where her raised bicep tenses and is overlapped by her shoulder, as well as that long, highlight line snaking it's way down her left arm, with light and dark tones there showing how the upper and lower arm lock together. Her whole midsection is glorious with that strong contrast in tone and how they all weave together looking so striking. Her face too is gorgeous, I love the division into light and shadow sides, with the light side having those bright, wet highlights on the corners of her temple and cheek. All of her features are beautifully rendered! Excellent work with this one, I am so impressed by all of the insane detail in this piece, much of which I didn't touch on but I have certainly noticed! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
