Kassandra - Voyeur

It's really tricky to make 2 characters interacting, but I have to say I really liked the result. It's definitely interesting to make the anatomy "work" and since the body is intended to be in motion, it changes a lot how the muscles are. So it's something I'd definitely like to do more in the future =)

I was very eager to see this finished piece and I am most definitely not disappointed! 😍😍😍 Starting off, I really like the textures and colours of the wall with colours blending and bleeding throughout, with touches of yellow, orange and brown across the surface. While the characters look sensational! I adore Kassandra's hair and how detailed it is with so many strands splitting off, giving it that messy look and further selling the passion of the scene. While the rendering of her face and anatomy are all incredible. I am in love with her upper back! The definition of the central crease of her spine as well as the shoulder blades and various muscles are all so well done with a gorgeous painterly look to it. I also love the strong contrast between the shadows across her upper back with the light cutting across her body beneath them, the effect is very striking. And just like the shadows above, the definition of her mid and lower back look amazing with the painterly brush strokes and blending of tones that define the muscles, forms and creases in her skin. I especially like the area under her breast and how it's in shadow, blending back up towards the lighter tones of her back and showing the divide between her back and side planes... I hope I worded that well... it's currently 4am for me but I couldn't resist trying to leave a comment before bed! (Just home from a midnight showing of Avengers Endgame 😹). But nevermind that! Back to the painting, as with her mid and lower back, the hint of her bum looks so beautiful and smoothly rendered and defined, with the man's hands further accentuating the shapes as the fingers wrap over them. And sure enough, what we see of the man is just as well executed as Kassandra herself! (And as we saw in the main pinup, Kassandra executed him very well indeed 😉) This may well end up being my favourite voyeur painting thus far! The colours are terrific, the lighting is bold and striking, the rendering is sublime and I adore the painterly brush strokes and I feel like you captured a beautifully passionate and intimate scene with the poses and embrace of the characters. Excellent work! 👏👏👏👏👏 And since I have seen Endgame now, I'm extra excited to see how you handle Black Widow. Oh and my Camilla and Ciri prints arrived, they look amazing!

WOW! Now that is a very passionate painting. What a lucky but poor man. I love the fact that it's like we're almost spying on them in this painting and then in the pinup it feels like we're confronted by her for that transgression. Bravo Krys and thanks, what a great series of paintings.
