Summer Morning #3

Because we all did that at some point!

So, it's been really fun to practice with those images because there's a lot of poses and expressions that I actually never did before so, I'm learning a lot!

Hope you guys like it!

thanks! I have to say I'm really happy with the results as well!

Lee

she's making her phone float ... towards her face!

Lee

Aw, the cuteness >.< This series was a wonderful idea <3 Thank you for more Iris :)

Robert Arctor

Is it me or is she making the phone float on its own? 0_0

Thanks! I actually did consider to make a small movement, but it started to create a few complications with shadow positioning, angles of the shadow and how they were cast on top of her. At the end I had to scrap it because it added an unecessary annoyance for a very minor gain =c

Lee

Awesome series. Great expressions. Movement of the sunlight very slightly would give a sense of time between each scene. Well, just a small thing. Amazing work, hope there is more.

Thanks! It's really cool to be able to work on different expressions and make them all work in the same "sequence". So it's definitely been an interesting exercise =)

Lee

thanks! Glad you liked it!

Lee

nah it's all good! =D

Lee

Ohw, or is it falling on her face ? I might be too tired :D

That's gonna leave a mark D:

Love your whole morning series ! Only one small comment about this one. I don't really get what's happening to the phone. Is it thrown ? Is it falling ? What side of her body ? That's only my feeling though, love it anyway :)

Ha! 😹😹😹 I've been having a really bad day, so something funny and beautiful like this definitely helps. Love the expression with the scrunched up face as the phone falls, you did a great job with all of the details and rendering of the little creases and folds in her face where her eyes close, brow furrows and lips make a frown. The pose is terrific too with the elegant bending and flowing of her legs and the asymmetry of both her arms and legs. And as always, the rendering is exquisite, from the intricately detailed hair, to the anatomy of her thighs, knees, calves feet and hands, as well as the creased little folds in her vest. Excellent work on this piece and once again, it's always fun to see more of Iris!
