It's pretty much out of their control Everything Marcus did is ultimately Silcos fault, I doubt many people would let their family die in favour of maybe getting away from someone like Silco. Marcus gets too much hate tbh. It's funny in contrast how Heimer gets loved even though he's basically THE reason things are the way they are between Piltover/Zaun, as if that's not a bad thing, I guess looking cute has its perks, makes everyone blind to the things you do/don't do.
