About the fight with Lord Boros - you should compare the dream sequence from the first episode with the fight. Notice the audio and visual cues, notice the music. It's basically the same "fight against overwhelming odds" but with Boros as a main character, instead of Saitama. Including the heartbeat sound in the end. It's actually a very well done self-contained season.
