I'm not sure if you should read the manga for the action. Not that it's bad, but... Demon Slayer is one of the few anime where the art is actually better than the manga. And people are also estimating after the last season that it would be about 4 seasons total to finish the whole story. Of course it would still take another year or 2 before they'd start airing season 4, but... that's actually not that bad compared to the treatment most other manga/anime get... whom never end up finishing. Heck, major anime like Konosuba and Re:Zero would need so many seasons it's practically impossible for them to ever finish in anime. Of course what you do is your choice. Just putting down some information so you can make your own informed decision. And yes, really nice nails. Usually I don't really care for it, but this is not something you'd really see much, if at all in public. As for the episode itself... I feel like the 4th rank demon seems awfully weak. I get that Tanjiro could be a little bit stronger than when he fought Upper 6, but I don't think that would really explain this difference. I can only conclude that he'll probably evolve into a much stronger form soon enough. Like when re-fusing or something.

I still had a good time, but watching Tanjiro struggle so long with "Joy" felt ponderous. I think it doesn't feel that way in the manga maybe because you can read that part quickly? Tanjiro vs Joy happens in 3 or 4 tightly packed pages so it doesn't drag. Eh, just some quibbles from me. I'm still loving this show. Great reaction as always! Can't wait for ep 5!
