Also, when Filoni and his crew set out to make this show, they wanted the look and feel of the animation to be really distinct from Clone Wars. They cited the Disney movie Tangled for some reason (?), along with Hayao Miyasaki as a big inspiration, so your comment about Howl's Moving Castle was right on point. Good catch! 😃 I am sure you will notice more of Miyasaki's influence in several future episodes.

2023-02-27 05:20:58 +0000 UTCThe Obi-wan show happens about 9-10 years after Revenge of the Sith, and Rebels happens 5-6 years AFTER that. That is why people were saying that the Grand Inquisitor was not dead after he gets stabbed by Reva, because they knew he had to be alive in season 1 of Rebels.
