2023-04-17 02:55:34 +0000 UTCBTW, you are quite correct. When this episode first aired, that scene between Jaime and Cersei created a big controversy with the fans. Especially because in the books it comes across as consensual. I still to this day am not sure why the show runners made the choice to change it. It unnecessarily undermines some of the progress they had made with Jaime's character arc.
