2023-06-18 15:09:08 +0000 UTCWhat made the death a huge shock to me when I first read the manga was pretty much Gon convincing me that he was still alive. And then shortly after at the end of the chapter you see Pitou sitting with Kite's decapitated head in her lap. We all knew you were gonna hate Neferpitou. But this arc is pretty crazy. Some people you love you might end up hating, some people you hate you might end up loving. Well, the prologue of the arc is now over. The stakes are pretty damn high. Kite, an extremely strong hunter and a master nen user was brutally killed by an enemy. And according to Killua the sheer amount of nen that enemy has far surpasses that of even the chairman (who is one of the strongest humans alive and one of the best nen users). So no matter what's gonna happen later... it's going to be rough.
