Next set of previews for Dragon Hoard. I haven't worked on much else lately, but will try to get some other content up soon.
In the first panel, the character was way too small compared to the source, so I had to render it a second time, with the sword at her feet for comparison.
I'm really happy with a new technique I tried out for the hair. Basically I exported the hair mesh into 3DsMax, reduced the volume by half, then optimized the hell out of it. I pulled it back into Poser and used it as a cloth mesh that wasn't connected to anything, so it fell off the head quite nicely.
I also used some lighting tricks to get a nice flame effect in the last panel, but I wish I knew how to do animated surfaces in poser, because the flame itself looks stiff in the video.
