Update: I decided to put more effort into lighting the Poser scene, to give it more of a fair shake. Still not quite what Daz is putting out, but it's closer now :)
Note: the DAZ render is the main/1st one, Poser is the 2nd & 3rd ones.
I saw a recent post by Elyria Steel of Futa Mai Shiranui (Twitter link). I really enjoy her work, but a lot of her pieces don't have a "happy ending", and that's a shame since I really like seeing these gals get some "closure".
I got inspired to fire up my softwares and create such an ending, and here are the results. I actually did the Poser image first, but I was very underwhelmed by the poor quality costume I found for Vicky 4. A friend pointed me to a much higher quality outfit for Genesis 3, and I thought why not try out Daz Studio for a change.
I think the Daz Studio one looks better, but I also spent like twice as long on it, partly because I've barely touched that program before (so I had to Google a lot), and partly because the render takes forever (I capped it at 7 minutes, and my poor PC barely functioned in that time). Contrast that with the Poser 11 render which took maybe 20 seconds.
Then again, I didn't have to fuss with the outfit in DS land, whereas the Poser one had to be adjusted a bunch of different ways to make it fit better (again, quality matter).
