Commissioned: Dragon Immortal Part 2 by RexEquinox

The next part of the Dragon Immortal comic, done by the incredible Rex Equinox. Another great experience working with them, and I highly recommend giving them a try if you have a TF comic in mind. One of the things I really enjoy about the process is Rex prefers to have a looser script with more room for artistic freedom. This means I don't have to spend nearly as much time writing the script, and I am far more surprised (pleasantly) by the result.

"The heroes defeated Xaeldrayr, but his spirit took over Red's body and transformed her into a gruesome version of itself. The party, still in shock from what they just witnessed, is in complete disarray when the new dragon attacks them. Nyana is quickly injured, and the remaining 2 have to fight even harder to survive. But how will they defeat that which cannot be killed?"

Originally I thought the dragon would be the same each time, but Rex had the great idea to have it absorb some of the characteristics of the host. So each dragon is going to have different appearance and fighting abilities. Red was the fearsome warrior, so her dragon form was red (obviously), bulky, and covered in thorny spikes. The axe-tail was Rex's brilliant contribution, which I really love.

Nyana on the other hand, is physically weaker but has powerful healing and barrier magic. The result is a dragon that is slender, white in color, and protected by large blunt plates.

Page 9 is my favorite in this one; the way the legs get muscular and the feet burst from the shoes is quite excellent! The neck lengthening and head transformation are also quite lovely.
