This is what happens when you don't follow your own rules
Added 2020-04-25 00:47:35 +0000 UTCSome time ago (3 years!!) I made a post describing my animation process. One part of the process (bottom of step 4) involved doing test renders to make sure lights and everything else look good BEFORE you start a big render session and go to bed for the evening.
Well, I didn't follow my own advice and started a big video render last night, so when I checked on it this morning, I found 2 obvious mistakes. That meant I need re-render the entire sequence!
1) I adjusted the material on the panties, but only for the first (of 3) props in the scene (if you want to know why there are 3 of them, check here). That means the other 2 still had the old material, so it's very noticeable when it switches.
2) I didn't check lights for the 2nd camera angle, and the character's face is very dark. Need to adjust lighting to fix that.
So, there goes 129 frames down the drain. Lesson (re)learned.

short answer: A lot :) I even had an issue recently with a "haunted" frame that had to be removed to fix one of the cuts
