Riley and the Doctor both find their bodies under immense internal pressure as their possessors (now effectively alter egos) make their way to the surface and begin "expressing" themselves physically. In the mirror-verse, the 2 supernatural beings notice one another for the first time, probably a side effect of the manifestation they are both engaging in.
After the transformation, it seems everybody is in a rather heated mood, and perhaps we are moving onto another fun of sexy fun times! This turned out to be a very complicated scene, so we'll probably be ditching the mirror going forward.
