Added 2022-02-02 00:25:19 +0000 UTCI've seen a number people dropping on Jan 31, specifically ones who have never contributed a single dollar. I'm going to start blocking people who do this regularly.
I set my price as low as it will go and I publish everything publicly anyway, so I don't think anyone can claim they didn't know what they were getting into. And if you can't spare a dollar, don't pledge in the first place.
Update: To elaborate on who I consider a freeloader, it's someone with no lifetime contribution ($0) who drops their pledge on the last day of the month, then re-pledges the next month. Repeatedly. I can't blame someone for joining and then changing their mind before the end of the month, but don't come back and repeat the cycle.

I've never dropped any artist without staying on at least a couple of months, even if it turns out I don't like them, just to make sure they get some money from me. At a dollar a month, you are the biggest bargain of anyone I'm subscribed to.
