Two days after making the downpayment on his murder, she met with the hitman again, who told her the job was done. He showed her photos of her dead husband, lying in a shallow grave with a bullet hole in his temple.
Lulu was ecstatic. It was everything she wanted. What she didn’t know was that the happy ending she believed she’d secured was only the beginning — and investigators in Montgomery County were about to find themselves in the middle of a case unlike any they’d ever seen.
