And for those in chat at 1:09:20 regarding Wing Commander...Its an underrated movie that deserved a much better budget. I don't hate the story though. Its not terrible. Just badly executed.

In about 50 million years, Mars' moon Phobos will be ripped apart by Mars' Roache Limit and form a ring system for thousands of years. Mars shows evidence of running water having existed on the surface. Mars has an approximate 24-hour period, a tilt similar to Earth, It has seasons, and so on. Mars' magnetic field is too low to sustain an atmosphere for oxygen and running water.

This is one of my favorite types of science fiction. This kind of near future just barely putting along out of the planet. The normal shit still in life existing, *cough* politics *cough*.
