Extra Content - What Kind? (and some news...)

This poll is for everyone, but framed with possible future Foundry VTT content in mind.

As a preface, I've been preparing changes to our release model and content focus based on several recent polls (here, here, and here),

The results of these polls have led to the following upcoming changes.

Themed packs

Themed packs will include multiple maps around the same theme, location, and/or scenario. There are several potential benefits to this:

• Maps are easier to use together for your adventures
• Use as a basis for written scenarios
• Use as a framework for possible extra content like audio, NPCs, new creatures, scene illustrations, etc. 
• It allows us to dedicate more time to creating multi-level deckplans or buildings when needed. 
• A single post (updated when new content is added) with all the relevant download links, Foundry VTT modules, etc., makes navigation easier.

The first themed pack will be the Alien-inspired company frontier colony we are working on. 

Foundry VTT focus

As mentioned in the previous turn-of-the-month post, we will focus more on Foundry VTT content. We will design our themed packs and maps with Foundry VTT in mind. This might also mean playlists, encounters, NPCs, or scenarios written for specific systems or scene illustrations in addition to battle maps and deckplans. 

Encounter Maps

One of the recent polls handled simple and generic maps that you could drop into different situations and perhaps add some props yourself. 

Encounter Maps will be categorized into a few broad categories for easier archiving and navigation. They will also have their modules for Foundry VTT.

The first set of encounter maps and tiles will explore the industrial sector of a vast and ancient imperial city. 

Now, That Extra Content... 

While putting our efforts into maps and assets and getting the Foundry VTT modules up to date (plus prepping them for the upcoming changes), I've been thinking of the following steps – possibly during the spring and summer. 

If this themed pack thing works, I'd like to expand the contents of each pack with some extra content. This is currently in the planning phase, but I would like to hear your opinion on this.

What would it be if we were to add some extra content to the themed packs? 

As some of the extra content might or can be system-specific, I added a few options related to this. 

The systems listed in the poll are based on the following:

• They have an open gaming license 
• The systems are available for Foundry VTT (at the moment). 
• I'm familiar with the system and comfortable creating content for it (or know someone who could do this)
