Tiny Explorer (edited)

A tiny explorer takes a huge risk. After conquering the huge mountain in the backyard. He comes face to face with his greatest venture yet, Scarlett. She walks around for a bit before sitting down to relax. That’s when our explore decides to venture into her toes and shoes. Wait until everyone hears about this amazing adventure… if he makes it home that is.

Enjoy.

Sidenote: This is the edited version. The POV is cropped giving you a wider view. However because it’s cropped the image isn’t as clear, because it’s zoomed in, and you can’t see all of what’s happening. This is the technique i typically use when i shoot with this particular camera, which is why sometimes these shots are so messy.

Let me know what you think.

Defo prefer this edited shot since you see the full perspective of the size of an ant. Defo worth the tradeoff of a stretched, foggy appearance compared to unedited. Imagine seeing this lens view of Scarlett’s gigantic feet and all her wrinkles, callouses, and flakes while she does mundane things. Imagine you see this and all you hear is Scarlett’s booming echo voice, or your heartbeat not being able to contain how heavenly this angle is to you, the pathetic, flea-sized person. And frankly, we’ve all had friends, co-workers, teachers, hell, even sisters and moms with these kinds of shoes (think l.e.i. or Mudd or Steve Madden back in the day) who we wish we could be shrunk 1/4” tall and gaze and their gorgeous feet the way we can all gaze upon Scarlett’s perfection here! Here’s hoping we see this kind of angle in the future with Scarlett & Lyra, or Eliza, or any other model who appears here. 😘

Always nice to have a little insight into why choices are made and I agree this one looks way better.

Anxious Millennial Cowboy

I agree that the round shot is clearer, but is incredibly distracting. I prefer the edited full screen shots.

I like the views a lot! Great for imagining what being a tiny dude would really be like. I really loved the perspective in the shoe as well as the perspective from the ground looking up. I’d love to see these same shots for more of her shoe collection too! Maybe use some of these micro lens shots for pov in between regular camera work?

Those angles were insane, hopefully we get more of this and maybe there's a way to make the cropped version quality better.
