the interview of them at minute 20 was upsetting cause they did a bit where they were reading comments (it was a live event for samsung), and the whole comment section was full of hate towards jennie :/ so that's why she kinda looks over it. there was even a point were it looked like she was trying not to cry :(

No idea, Lisa was apologizing in fansigns because her promo was short and lacking and she also prepared behind the scenes vlogs of her whole solo era to make up for it (you can see them on her Youtube channel Lilifilm) and she mentioned being disappointed about not performing Money anywhere. So it's safe to say it wasn't her own decision and who knows why YG does things... Some fans were speculating discrimination since she is Thai (I don't know if you know this but foreign idols are usually paid less than their group members and face many restrictions, many have spoken out about this such as Jackson Wang and Sorn from CLC) but I don't wanna assume /accuse so🤷‍♀️

Oh yes, this was very upsetting :( I remember fans trended tags for support afterwards. It's honestly sad how much hate these girls get.

Money actually wasn't even performed live anywhere, not even once and at first many people didn't even know it was Lisa's song! Lalisa got all the promotional activities, which admittedly wasn't much and lasted barely 2 weeks. We were shocked at how little promotion Lisa got :( But then Money went viral, and because of this, 2 whole months after release, Lisa received radio support from Interscope and did a radio interview tour at the US, that is probably why she is focusing on Money for her little special gift performances as well. Also it was the song Lisa picked first as her title, so she simply likes it better lol it was probably the company that decided to go with Lalisa because she said Money is her favorite many times.

No, that was the Chanel event (and that was way before they had the Cardi B collab 😂). The Samsung event is at the 20:11 timestamp of your video, where she wasn’t talking or even smiling. And all the other members are looking at her.

Thanks for this! ❤️ However, for the clip on 20:11 (the Samsung event), there is a sad backstory about that. First it was funny because even though they are Samsung endorsers, they have been caught using iPhones (you will notice in the clip where Lisa is showing the contents of her bag—the awkwardness there is that she was carrying an iPhone and not a Samsung) so they were so clueless about using the phones. Back to Jennie, during that broadcast, there was a live chat and some antis are saying bad words to Jennie and she can read all of them in real time. She was near tears throughout and the members also noticed so what Rosé did was pick the nice messages for Jennie in the chat and read it aloud to make Jennie feel better. There was a video after that event when they were going back to their car and Jennie was seen sobbing. She didn’t even bother to hide it. They are not Samsung endorsers anymore though so they now freely use iPhones (except Lisa since she is an endorser of the phone brand Vivo).
