Chaeryeong and her older sister were both on kpop star 3 (2013-2014) and didn't win but got cast into JYP, then the year after both her and her sister were on a jyp survival called SIXTEEN (2015) which created the group twice, but were both eliminated, her older sister went on another survival in 2018 and debuted in IZ*ONE and Chaeryeong debuted in ITZY in 2019, so yeah she's been around for ages
