I'm not usually into girly things or overly cute people but they are so sincere that they are very endearing. Jisoo's facial expressions - my gosh 🥲.
Annoyingly the camera cut at the last part. It's never happened before, but I didn't want to re record it as I felt it would be insincere, I hope you agree. So instead I'll fill you in on my thoughts.
And I thought we can chat more in a VC on discord on Saturday/Sun about this, Lisa's solo and more.

Fan meeting
I was struck and impressed by how sincere jennie was with the fans when they handed out the gifts. They were all happy to see fans but there was something about jennies interactions. She seemed very concerned that they would be cold, told everyone to heat it out, smilies with soo much warmth and sincerity. It was very motherly and adorable to watch.
Secret Santa
The secret santa was really cute. Lisa is an amazing person to get a gift for because she squeals and appreciates everything. Common her scream because of a tea bag is hilarious.
Sherlock jisoo knowing that loud Lisa was her secret santa was tooo funny. How did Lisa not see jisoo was walking past her when she bought the gift 🤣🤣 she is just in her own world when she's shopping.
Rosé took the assignment really seriously and was so intentional about her gifts for jennie. Jennie getting the same gift that she had bought for Lisa is so fun. It shows how well rosé knew jennie. I relate to jisoo struggling with shopping so her, she needs shopping lessons from Lisa.
Special gift/letters
Deciding who to give a gift to based on the letters was tough. You can see they have genuine interest in the stories they were reading and felt empathy with each case. I'm interested to see their reaction when they choose at random because they may have had a favourite.
I'm sooooooooo excited for the next episode. Them pretending to work in a cafe and sunrise a fan is going to be fun. Imagine going a out your business and blackpink are suddenly infront of you 😳 I can't wait. I always like to see fan interactions before deepening my interest in s group because I want to know that they see fans as really people that they care about and not a means to their popularity. All the sgins point to the first but I like seeing interactions ro confirm. And to also see how disffernet members interact with different types of fans.

Seungri was a member of BIGBANG, one of the most famous male K-Pop bands. They're known in the industry as "The Kings Of K-Pop" and also BLACKPINK's "older brothers". They recently finished their military service and were planning to appear at Coachella before covid hit. Seungri had to leave the group due to a scandal.

Then there was nothing for eight months, after which they dropped one song (AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST) in June 2017. Then they went silent again, there was nothing but occasional magazine shoots and TV commercials. Fans and the media wondered why they cut everyone off. During this time they released BLACKPINK HOUSE, in early 2018. Fans were happy to see them but also disappointed that they hadn't released any more music. It would be a full year since AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST until they released more music. The girls also posted on V-Live that they were sorry that they couldn't discuss the situation.

2021-09-08 19:54:34 +0000 UTCI know I literally suggested this like 10 times but: If you react to Blackpink: Journey and Friendship, I think you will get to see just how grateful they are to their fans and how their love for Blinks AND each other is very very geniune. And I think it's really cool that whenever they get asked about things like awards or charts they are still so obviously and genuinely surprised and grateful at their success and when they are asked to send a message to the fans encouraging them to vote or whatever they are just like "it's a miracle you guys like our music, if you want to you could vote. it's more important to us that you enjoy the music though" like this is really their general attitude they are never like "Stream and buy our music, vote for us, help us get that number 1" etc. Most recently Rosé lost a couple of music show votings in her solo era but she kept reassuring the fans who were promising to vote harder next time, she said she was very happy with the love they showed her already and just wanted them to enjoy her music, not focus on numbers. Jisoo notably has also mentioned this a lot, she has a famous quote saying "people who dislike me will dislike me, people who like me will like me. even if there is one person out there supporting me, regardless of amount and depth, it's all good." I think this is a very special thing in an era where artists themselves will organize streaming parties and even guilt trip their fans. They also always say that they still feel like rookies and they are always looking for improvement in their work. Lisa even said she is very awkward with praise and actually prefers constructive criticism so she knows what to fix lol.

Especially on Rosé and Lisa, they were formerly well-guided by Jennie and Jisoo. Now, they are just as much reliable as the two older members. It's nice to look back at how they were as rookies/teenagers. Thank you for this. :)

2021-09-07 19:53:34 +0000 UTCAlso most people close to her call her Rosie as well, ie her sister Alice, Ashely Choi, Teddy (although Hyeri does call her Chaeyoung) even when she is telling a story talking about her mom or dad she will say Rosie so it seems her parents call her that as well and she refers to herself as Rosie as well. During the Zach Sang interview for her solo she even said Hank would probably call her Rosie.

2021-09-07 17:20:59 +0000 UTCAs for Rosé having a lot of names, yes she does 😂. Her English name is Roseanne Park, so she goes by the stage name Rosé. Jennie calls her Rosie or Rosie Posie. Her Korean name is Park Chaeyoung. This is why you’ll hear Jisoo and Lisa call her Chaeng or Chaeyoung. Even her Korean friends call her by her Korean name and she once said that she prefers to be called Chaeng or Chaeyoung.
