Also some fun facts (because she uploaded a bts video of this performance too): This is the first time she performed her song, the first performance she recorded. They did several takes and Lisa was pretty tired but she wasn't satisfied yet so she asked the director for one more take - a single take performance she will do without taking any breaks. It turned out great and it was the one they used :) Also this song was originally going to be less than 2:50, ending right after the "Thailand to Korea" segment that you love, but to Lisa it felt incomplete and she asked to producer to add the hook to the end one more time to pull it together, adding an extra 30 seconds. Blackpink songs are rarely that long and since it is her first time performing a song by herself she was a little worried and felt responsible too bc it was her decision to extend it, so she started working out very hard to increase her stamina, there were times she practiced the dance for 6 hours without a break and she did pilates on top of her dance practice. It really shows in her body too - she gained a little bit of weight and looks much more muscular and healthy overall.

I love watching Lisa perform so much but unfortunately YG gave her very few chances to perform - One Fallon performance (this one), 3 performances on Korean music shows, and two more performance videos posted on Youtube. The whole era lasted less than 2 weeks. For reference: Rosé had 7 Korean music show performances, one Fallon and one Japanese tv performance. Blackpink as a group also performs around the same amount. Even Jennie back in 2018 - when they weren't as global so no American or Japanese tv - had 7 music show performances + award show stages. Lisa was also aware of the lack of content so she uploaded several behind the scenes vlogs on her personal Youtube channel and in fanmeetings she apologized to Blinks for the lack of promotions several times. You might be curious for the reason but nobody knows why. We only know Lisa was upset about it and that the company kept changing and cancelling her schedules (her own words). But despite all this she still broke many records for a Kpop soloist and is about to become a million seller soon! (950.000 copies sold!)

I guess that is why I like the choreography because they also put in mind that Lisa is also going to sing live while dancing. So there's unfortunately no Thai in it but it would've been great if they had especially during the Thai scene. Keep up the awesome content! I look forward to it every week 😁
