ROSE on The Ground Dance Practice

I love the endless references to the lyrics in this dance.

What are your thoughts?

I love this version... the natural lighting, the openness of the space.

I thought BP's last release was actually quite different from before. IIRC Lovesick Girls was their title track to The Album. Lovesick Girls was so different in terms of their sound and I think it really highlights their growth as artists. It had the signature elements of BP in there, however, it was sonically different and more vocal forward.

Beat Drops & Bars seem to have taken over much of BP's music. I think it might be time for other song writers to work with Blackpink. Maybe we would have a more steady release of material as well. Teddy's stuff is sounding rather stale to my ears.

its always weird when your artists sound changes to something you aren't feeling. I haven't heard overly western BP songs yet.

Hope the next batch of Blackpink songs are more like this. BP's recent emphasis on Western Rap/Hip Hop leaves me a little cold to be honest. I'd like the vocals to get more shine. It would be nice if Rose' & Jisoo's parts where more than bridges to the next rap section.

I totally wasn't expecting choreo like this, but I quite liked it. Everything about her solo project just screamed "ROSÉ"

Yeah, I agree, the Fallon performance is my favorite one too. For Gone, definitely the Sea of Hope. She did the entire song there and it was just such a good version.

I actually never expected this would have a dance/choreo but it turned out to be a very creative one. She actually teased the choreo on her guesting in Knowing Bros (that time she guested with Hyeri of Girls Day, who is one of her best friends). I suggest you watch its first live performance on Jimmy Fallon. Rosé is singing live (you can hear her clearly against the MR).
