So i'm still trying to process how genuine they are. It takes a a while for me to really get it because i'm sceptical of marketing tricks. But I can't deny - wouldn't even want to - how bonded I am to them as people.
I am posting this on YT tomorrow so wanted to give you first access.
Here's my content plan for November so you know what to expect and where https://teamup.com/ks74snsftu1uyyvor3

Just something silly ….. torn between watching this reaction here on Patreon (no ads) or YouTube (give you the views) …. watched both twice 😁🤣

This video is such a great summary of why we love these girls so much! Answers to your questions: The girl doing the "acrobatics" was Lisa, she was 16, search "Who is that girl?" by YG Entertainment. And yes, YG is notorious for having the most difficult training period, many ex trainees have mentioned this. And yes, they can win awards for their solo works in soloist categories and Jennie won one, she thanked her members and blinks in her speech.

Echoing what everyone else said here. BP is literally my first GG and they're just insane. YG has always said that they don't train idols, they train artists and I think that's why the bar is so high. You can't debut in YG's training program unless you are at that very high standard.

Im also like you, super conscious of the whole marketing behind kpop groups, i have been only a fan of SNSD and SHINee, but i truly believe that the friendship of some kpop groups its genuine, like i feel that with SHINee, SNSD and now Blackpink, the do after all spend years in a harsh enviroment and only themselves can relate to that experience, the blackpink girls even if they are a brand and have a whole controlling system behind say brand, they arent the biggest group when it comes to stuff like fanservice and they also are super private including their own friendship between themselves. one of the things that i like the most about them beside how talented they are its how humble and hardworking they seem to be, all the people who works with them always mention how their work ethic its amazing

Ezra Miller, who played The Flash in the Justice League movie, is a huge fan and is a certified Blink. He specifically requested for As If It’s Your Last to be played in that scene (where Bruce Wayne visited his house).

Their love for Blinks and their craft is also truly remarkable. They pour their hearts out in EVERY performance. You often hear them in their lives (especially our cutie Rosé) that they never want to give out a bad performance that's why they work so hard.

YG's training is ridiculously arduous but i'd like to think that it was necessary for the girls to be as good as they are now. No one was forced to stay and train..they could have gone home anytime. But the girls stayed and here they are now. 💗💗💗 this goes to show the admirable characters these girls have.
Jennie even said that she never regretted training for so long (6 yrs for her, being the one w/ the longest trainee period)

This right here is exactly why Blinks love Blackpink so much. It’s literally ride or die. Their connection is one of the most genuine that I’ve seen throughout all idol groups and just in life in general. A lot of people who don’t know them and don’t bother to look into them claim they don’t love each other because of how they’re marketed and because they have a lot of solo activities. They work so hard and a lot of people don’t see it. Yg’ s dancers said that Blackpink works so hard behind the scenes that they would harass (jokingly) the dancers and choreographers to help them make sure they get the choreo perfect. And that the girls would stay hours longer in the practice room even when all the backup dancers were finished.
In Lisa’s last youth with you mentoring season, the company she was working with showed a clip of Lisa basically fainting after she had to do high energy choreo for 5 minutes straight with no cuts. In the clip you see the backup dancers falling as well and Lisa said that she almost threw up after that. The trainees that she was demonstrating the dance for had an extremely difficult time even completing the dance. Jennie Rose Jisoo and Lisa have been injured during performances and we never knew until years later, they work so hard to push through it but people would call then (especially Jennie) lazy because there were times where she couldn’t do the choreo full out because of her broken ankle. Jennie is also perceived as being cold by ppl that don’t know her personality when it’s actually the exact opposite.
Jisoo is the only one out of blackpink that went to high school for a bit so she had the opportunity to make other memories and had a chance to be a kid which is why Blackpink in general may seem more amazed at small things and likes to collect cute things They never got breaks during their trainee days all they did was work. Blackpink house was their first real vacation in 5 years since they started training. They virtually did not have the childhood that most idols get. Most idols are allowed to finish high school while training but Blackpink literally dropped out to become an idol.
The general population of kpop stans don’t know the struggles that blackpink goes through so they perceive their instant success as undeserved. A lot of other kpop Stan’s call them overrated because of their instant success. They say they have privilege because Blackpink comes from a big company which negates all the hard work that Blackpink has done.
Yg is by far the most difficult company to pass through. Ex yg trainees literally fail from yg and debut in other companies easily. Those ex trainees come out years later and say that a lot of them either fail or quit on their own because the bar is so high. Thinking about that makes it even more insane to think about how Lisa was constantly at the top of all the trainees there. Jennie said that she literally got straight As in everything. The audition process in itself is insane. Rosé had to beat around 1 thousand girls for her audition and Lisa beat 4 thousand other girls (foreigners have to prove their worth so Lisa’s path has always been more difficult.)

I wasn't expecting you'll drop something again. I just finish with my patient and I saw your post. They're indeed really good friends. They grow up and matured together. They have each others back.
