The Emperor aka King Arthur
I mean, he's The Emperor but I named him King Arthur just because I used to it more haha.
From the beginning I have some design of The Emperor in mind. The selfish but innocently emperor who always care his look more than anything, with a stylish, puffy, pompadour haircut that cover his eyes. That's the character I want to animate. Simple yet striking XD Imagine having to animate his emotion without an eyes is just, challenging <3
I was intended to do a loosely inking style, almost like a brush stroke, a living painting. Then I found out the process might take too long to do for just one frame. I have to made a line to close the gap between each stroke for every frame and that's might not be a good option.
So I ended up back to the same old brush style. Fast and easy to fill the color.
Here's the *almost* final design of Arthur:
Arthur will have some several outfit in the shorts. From the casual, emperor style to a tank top to the glorious shiny, goldy outfit. I using the same design but change the color palette. Still, not quite there yet. They look too similar, not much of a special. Let's push a design a little bit more.
Now that's something XD I design his special old outfit from King Henry Viii. All that puff shoulder and pants and the under arms cloak are just perfect <3
