I assume something similar can be done with animals, especially if it’s only one or two like a squirrel and serpent. A squirrel climbs tree and wants nuts, a serpent slithers and likes warm places.

They behave based on his knowledge, understanding, and control of the market, not based on their own experience and decisions. They aren't really alive, it's just a complication involved in balancing and managing his energies.
