installed just fine on windows 11 but i have an issue. sideloaded an app and installed fine but app opens then closes. use sideloadly and the same app works just fine. any ideas as to why this happens? ive noticed it does it for a few apps

When I try to install to my iPhone 13 running iOS 15.2.1 the installation reports that it completed successfully but nothing new appears on my iPhone. Failing silently or am I missing something?

The team just did an update to address this issue. Update your plug-in and it should work on 12.1

I installed this but UTM asks me to enable JIT every time I access a virtual machine for which I need to connect it to a mac. It totally defies the purpose of installing AltStore and UTM on my iPad. Is there a way out? Please help. Thanks in advance :)

Read alstore.io faq: Try using another Apple ID. If necessary, you can create a new Apple ID specifically for use with AltStore for free.

Trying to figure out what is going on now. Everything was working fine with developer account and now i seem to have lost altstore on my ipad and it will not reinstall

I want to ask is there a way to make jit work natively ? Or every time i open the app i should go to the laptop ?

There is not a single mention of the impossibility of installing altstore with a developer account, especially since there are no suggestions for solving this problem.

Activating DolphiniOS ALTJit through ALTStore only works once, and then attempting to do it anytime after that does not turn on ALTJit. There still needs to be a fix for this so that this works evertime.

edit: for anyone else with this problem, upgrading to iPadOS15.1 fixed the issue for me. Anyone else find a solution on Mac to being unable to enable JIT with the error: "JIT compilation could not be enabled for DiOS (Beta)" "The URL to download the Developer disk image could not be determined."

If everything is so complicated, then it makes sense to use Xcode and Jitterbug – for macos 12 and ios 15.1 everything works without a hitch. Application without the ability to install via Xcode can be installed via Sideloadly with edit advanced options: remove limitations on supported devices; change app bundle ID; use Anisette authentication need Apple ID password, otherwise need App password. Thus can use paid developer account, have no limitations and enable JIT wherever there is WiFi without PC, Mac or another second devices))) Good luck everyone! I solved this task for myself.

I'm trying to enable JIT from a Windows machine, and getting "Mobile Image Mounter error -256". Looks like a problem in libimobiledevice. Let me know if I can be of any help in fixing :)

Did you delete AltServer and AltStore and reinstall them after updating? Worked for me using AltServer on Windows (can't get it to work on macOS).

AltStore immediately crashes when I open it. Updated to 15.1, and had the beta version of AltServer and AltStore installed.

AltStore app 1.5b2 launches on 15.2db1, but anything else installed with it immediately crashes.

Uninstalled 1.5b5 prior to updating. AltStore installs correctly but immediately crashes on 15.1

AltServer shows an update version 1.4.7 even if running 1.5b8. Do not install the update as it will install public released AltStore and this breaks side loaded apps (side loaded app crashes at startup)

what's happening to me right now is that it won't sign any apps. it will get stuck for 30 mins trying to sign then says failed but it somehow used x amount of 10 app ID. suggestions of what troubleshooting i can do right now?

Somehow I got the AltStore to update itself (Windows 11 PC, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 15.1 RC) and I tried to sideload via the beta Altstore and got an error saying I was locked out of iCloud. I unlocked my account and tried again and got the same message. Will update post with message if it comes back. Sideloadely works though.

I have a iPad Pro third generation (A12X) and running UTM (runs virtual machines on ios) with iOS 15.0. Now I get a dialog from UTM that says I have to be tethered to a debugger, I assume for keeping JIT running. Is this an issue with UTM, Apples requirements for JIT or AltStore? is there some way/scenario/process to get this so that it is not tethered? I can see that when UTM exits it would still have to be enabled someway, but at least as long as it running I can be on the road away from the machine that has the JIT enablement.

So for everyone using the official released version on windows I suggest that you uninstall then install the alt server beta version

It’s alright now I fixed it it seems the alt server beta version 15 on windows 10 it doesn’t upgrade the released version 14 even though the installer said it will upgrade the current version so I uninstalled and reinstall now it’s working :)

I even sponsored and downloaded it to use Instagram rhino on an iPhone that has not been jailbroken, but it never opens. And the moment the altstore is updated, the altstore app does not open.... Did you waste your money >?

You can downgrade to iOS 15.0.1 until Apple signs it.

I was able to go to iOS 15.0.2 without losing any data from the 15.1 beta 3 no problem and regained access to AltStore

I'm able to get AltStore installed to my iPhone running the latest public beta just fine, but the successful installation of neither the standard Delta nor beta Delta works. It'll appear to have worked, but both Delta variants only crash. (I also noticed the same behavior of Altstore itself crashing if I tried to update itself from within the app.)

Just downloaded the new beta for altserver and updated my IPhone and Mac to the latest beta versions I was able to open altstore on my phone but for some reason the sidloaded apps are not working they crash at open.

Still doesn't seem to work for me. Updating to the latest beta causes the app to crash. After restarting the computer, I am able to sync over wifi to install AltServer and not require usb sync.

It works now! I figured out how to fix it. You have to download this file that he attached and delete the old app from phone and install it with this one he created and then update the alt store beta to the newest version and the update the email plugin. Then it will work.
