The essence he sold for 4k was pristine, the essence being sold for 5k was shit.

2025-02-12 21:32:00 +0000 UTCTo be fair the earth essence only got sold for a mark up of 33%. With that logic a basic sword would still be 6600, and he only had 2800 or so left. If he saved 15% on the flags and an extra ten percent on the pills and talismans (which would be great deals all around) heβd still be about 2500 short for an excessively marked down basic sword that heβs not particularly trained for.

2025-02-11 01:22:02 +0000 UTCHe mentions that haggling is allowed, indeed is one of the reasons the market exists. No set prices. And yeah, he does haggle initially when selling the earth essence but when he buys anything it seems he just takes the first real price with a slight bulk discount. Why? No haggling, which is probably hard to make interesting so sure, but not even a mention of βI got it down to 1750β or anything like that? Or, in the case of the sword, immediate rejection with no attempt to haggle down the price. The Earth essence to be sold was MASSIVELY overpriced, why is the swordβs price taken at face value?
