I'm glad the MC's family wasn't killed off like in a lot of stories, but I also want them to go away now. Hopefully after this tournament they will show up more sporadically. The constant "don't lose yourself to power" from his family got old really fast.

2026-01-16 01:38:59 +0000 UTCI’ve been thinking more on the situation of ke yin’s possession, after learning about what happened with the spiritual imprint being absorbed by its host. There’s similarities and differences; they both have memories of the other person, but one personality became dominant, however one was aware of what exactly happened, and had been put into a temporary coma to resolve the issue while the other, it was quick and there was no such ‘digestion’ period, his feels more like amnesia than anything else. There’s also what happened with the dao of truth, but that seems to rely more on revealing what a person’s true feelings are rather than the universe’s truths. He feels like an imposter, which ultimately has roots in the uncertainty of his circumstances.

Or one, which would be neater as well as not making the elemental chamber useless to them both as they advance a ton in near a decade. Or it’s a resource barren time capsule sort of set up where they can’t ‘advance’ much, per se, but instead deeply refine their abilities as they are to an obsidian sharp edge.

Should probably be fixed, too weird for parents to use the full name of their child. If you want it to be longer than "Yin", you could use "Ah Yin" or "Xiao Yin" as affectionate nicknames
