Let's start with the BUN HUNTING 2.0: END CREDITS (see previous post here).

Next: Oat O'Connell Sketches

Last month I posted about Oat the bartender here. You can read and learn about him and his wardrobe malfunction curse there.

I was very stressed on how to get the eyes just right and for a long time, I couldn't. It's the most important feature in any character designs for me that no matter what mistake you make, make sure the eyes are drawn well.

The features like sideburns, goatee or fur color are fun to design. Yet in this one the eyes are still not right.

Until these sketches I did in the past week. You might not noticed but the way I draw the eyes are more relaxing and more personality, at least for me XD

I feel a lot of relief knowing that I don't have to worry about it anymore and just have fun playing with his personality from now on!

Oat's casual looks. Breezy!

B-baka! Can't you knock?!

I plan to make this as a black and white comic at some point in the future. I did some tests on the left side. Wondering if I want to color it later what it will look like, so I try it on the right side. Looks pretty swell!

Last, Popeye and the Phantom Reanimate

Back in November 2021, I've done a little reanimate project for my friend, Dirk, and it was Popeye cartoon called BBQ for Two.

Dirk invited me again this year for Popeye and the Phantom reanimate. I was skeptical at first since I have a lot on my plate already but, a little fun project for a change wouldn't hurt.

This time the concept is to change your assigned segment entirely into a parody or a weird, scary scenario for Popeye who keeps teasing by the Phantom. The cartoon itself was very badly made so Dirk wanted to make it more bizarre.

Character design. Knowing me you know what I gonna do with them XD
