Patt's final anim is one of the hardest cuts to be made for sure. The idea is Hank is happily handling the sandwich package, then having a happy walk/dance across the scene in full body just to sit on the bench is already a lot!
In the first pass the result was Hank walked like a cat in that gif! XD
So, I and Patt have a full day discussion on how he walks and what's the attitude behind the walk. Hank is happy and full of glee but still has his coolness too.
One reference that came into my mind was this wolf in drag from the Mighty Mouse cartoon.
We decided to make Hank have a giddy laugh before a skibidi walk like in the above back and forth, then stop, shaking his butt, preparing to sitting on the bench/loch.
VOILA! Much much better!
The rest of the shorts are a combination of many animators contributing their cuts here and there. The next one I'm gonna do is from OleLoken and his anim cut for this short is jsut marvelous!
I'll rest for a day then start cleaning up the cut above <3
