TV shows for me to eventually cover

Hey guys, we're probably still a ways off from me covering TV series on the Kill Count but I wanted to start crowdsourcing information from you, my Patreon fam, on which shows I should consider.

Originally I figured I'd cover a season in an episode but since I don't like the idea of potentially having 20+ minute videos, I might break them down into covering 3 episodes at a time. That means getting through most seasons of horror shows in 4 videos. Haven't settled on it but just kicking around my thoughts right now.

I'd love to start with the Scream series (since it's only 2 seasons) but currently only season 1 is available to own and it's only on DVD, not BluRay. It has some streaming options but I'll have to look into any ways to download episodes from those services to edit into my videos.

The series I have in mind as of now are:

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the matter! Thanks!

Comments

American Horror Story, Slasher, & Dexter!

Spenser Dollar

Hannibal

Jackie Stuart

Harper's Island from 2009, it is only 13 episodes but has a definitive ending. It is not available on Blu Ray, though, only DVD.

Jimmy Brown

The Walking Dead

Jonathan Guerra

Definitely Scream!! And Scream Queens is super legit!!

Harper’s Island is a really underrated slasher horror series too. Only 1 season as well so it wouldn’t take long to get through

Chris Cullen

Scream

Mirage

SLASHER!!!!

Jarron Williams

Stranger Things would pretty cool- or, American Horror Story

Matt Roberson

*cough* Buffy *cough*

Jacksonnn

You should definitely consider Bates Motel. Maybe you could also do penny dreadful, the strain or Hannibal

Maty2391

Ash vs. the Evil Dead !!

raven.

Tales From The Crypt, pleeeeeease!

Ally Green

The old Friday the 13th show?????

Da Spork

The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones would be real good

Cooper Tennant

Scream

Shanky Dank

Game of Thrones and Stranger Things would be amazing!

Alexandra Reilly

Scream would be a lot of fun. Cheesy CW style tv shows like that are my guilty pleasure, and I feel the show blows the movies out of the water when it comes to kills, in brutality if not number.

Unseen Branches

I would love to see Freddys nightmares or Ash vs The Evil Dead are my top two choices

Daniel Wetterling

Stan against evil(if it has kills), Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, Freddy's Nightmares

Casey Scott

Channel Zero is a fun show, too, but I don't think there's much there for a kill count

Christopher Morgan

Slasher is a super fun show. My brother claims American Horror Story is great, too, but I haven't kept up on that one.

Christopher Morgan

Harper's Island was pretty good. There was at least 1 or more kills per episode. It only ran for one season on CBS (of all places!) and it's out on DVD. The quality of the kills was hit or miss but it was a fun show.

DC

Sounds great! If you ever get to GoT I wish you the best of luck getting through all that lol

Anthony Rosenthal

There was a show called Harpers Island that would be cool. It's a little hidden gem that gets snubbed for its lazy yet acceptable ending. Also shows like Dead Like Me and AHS would be cool.

Lynden House

I'd love to see Saw,though the Walking Dead would be cool too.

Aiden Boyer

I've only seen the 2nd season of Slasher, but I really liked it! Was definitely thinking about how you would describe it if you did it haha. Definitely had some twists in it, and some gory kills, so I think that would be a good one!

Sara Damian

recommendations, stranger things, pretty sure at least some people die in it. from dusk till dawn the series. bates motel. and supernatural.

movie madman

Friday the 13th: The Series. Grew up loving that show (it was pretty gory and graphic for TV at the time) and I own all three seasons on DVD.

Sean Harrington

OMG yes the walking dead!

DelicaTessa

True Blood

Branden Barker

MTV's Scream Pleeeeaaaassssse

Cameron Fulmer

Scream

Brennan Hickson

Scream for sure!

Bates Motel or Hannibal could be interesting as well.

Connor Henderson

I think Scream Queens, while more comedy than horror, would be a lot of fun as a kill count episode.

Jesse Nguyen

I can see a general consensus of the walking dead. I think this is brillant. Watching you analyze the show and the comedy to lighten it up sound very interesting. I also wouldnt mind something like Dexter. I think this is a dark tone show in line with shows like the walking dead.

Fringe is long but has interesting kills in it, Or the flip side, something campy and horrible like Freddy's Nightmare.

Amanda Ocasio

American Horror Story would be a GREAT kill count

Daniel Kopnick

I think you should look into doing the Death Note anime. I saw a post saying you aren't a anime fan but this would be a good chance to watch it. On the plus side the episodes length are only about 22 mins.

Jeremy Gruenwald

Sounds like an awesome idea to me honestly

Justin Griggs

Ash vs Evil Dead please!

Julia Faith

Bates Motel could be good! Not a *ton* of kills, comparatively speaking, but they make damn good use of the ones they do have. Plus, you could probably cover it fairly easily since there aren't an overwhelming amount.

JordanL

Slasher is awesome. Just not season 2 as much

A funny one btw would be the rocky horror picture, TIM CURRY!

Paul Jones

I'd also like to see stranger things on their but I'm not sure if that works well. you'll have to look at ways/content to keep viewers interested when two of those episodes won't have any kills.

Paul Jones

I'd like to see Dexter at some point, but I'm for the Exorcist. I like the idea of breaking them down into four parts for season, that way your not cramming so much in their and it seems really forced aka BvS.

Paul Jones

Scream the series has my vote if you can get it, then probably Ash Vs. Evil Dead.

Marcus K.

I would recommend checking it out ;)

Marcus K.

You should roughly see how many zombies die in the walking dead with the rest of the kill count. (that would be horrible don’t actually do that to yourself)

Court Braten

Me personally I’ve never watched American horror story, does I️t have a lot of kills?

Scott Quinn

Some shows I think you should do. The Hannibal series. I would also love for you to do the old school Tales From The Darkside! Great 80s fun right there.

Colin Perkins

AHS would be a great option!

Michael Mccloud

I’d love to see Ash vs Evil Dead. It’s gory, funny, jumpy, and has Bruce Campbell. What’s not to love?

Chase acker

X-Files!!!!

James Bruce

Any of these are solid choices but definitely try out shorter series so it'll be easier to do the synopsis first. Also if you haven't seen it, penny dreadful is goofy but decent gory fun. Also available on netflix.

Peaches

Do american horror, Because of the fact that it is an anthology series and each season explorers horror in so many different ways. So happy to see you being able to make your YouTube dream come true.

Rose Montgomery

Scream would be good and their is not that much seasons out for it anyway

Thomas cush

The walking dead would be great

Tom Warwick

Yeah I have to figure out in general how to talk about properties that don't have a lot of deaths in them

Dead Meat

Awesome. Thanks!

Makayla Simpson

American Horror Story or Scream because they are actually scary

Angel Junior Franco

Ash vs the evil dead and game of thrones man!!!!!!!!!!!

Paul Cummins

Bates Motel is a good show to do in the future.

Richard Lucero

I’d say The Exorcist for sure, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on Breaking Bad too.

Parker Rognrud

Idk, I know stranger things isn’t necessarily filled with deaths, but I’d be interested with some sort of video from you talking about the show

Robert Hardy

The Walking Dead would be amazing.

Matthew Entwistle

I would love to see a walking dead kill count, even though it would take forever and a half to make

Alex Van Loen

No to zombies, and then I'd count the people when they turned (or when we found them turned)

Dead Meat

Sounds like an awesome idea, I personally love Scream so that would be amazing

Robert Hardy

Oh fuck, DUH (although season 1 isn't even available on home media yet, the bastards)

Dead Meat

If you did the walking dead would you cover zombie deaths/people becoming zombies?

Makayla Simpson

Love this idea! Would you do the Exorcist?
