The Forest Update (December 2023)

A new boss fight has been added! A new enemy we didn't see in the old version. Yep - we couldn't exactly release a bossfight half finished. In fact, it's such a huge, intense chunk of content, we're going to list it here twice to fill space.
A new tutorial level has been added, which better teaches about the game's less-obvious mechanics, such as lotus flowers, lives, mid-air dashing and combat.
A new look for everything! We cartoonised the game for a more consistent style. It still needs some fine-tuning but so far we're happy with it. Let us know what you think too!
A new boss fight has been added! Actually just the same one. Told you we'd repeat it. And if it's too easy for you, you should repeat it too, on a higher difficulty setting!
A new couple of friends at the credits wall! That's almost everyone now. (Really.)
A new... bunch of bug fixes too probably! I don't remember; it's been a long time since the last update, and we've developed a lot of new technologies to our engine to help speed up development even further in future.
We won't spoil the details of the new fight - you should go see for yourself. We'll be taking a short but much needed break over the holidays, and then it's straight back to work. Whether you celebrate or not we hope all of you get a few days rest and relaxation too! Happy holidays!
