Another vote for using Paypal. They also do not hit me with a foreign trnsaction fee.

2018-09-02 12:14:47 +0000 UTCThis is the 2nd month I had to reply YES to a text alert asking whether I authorized this charge and then had to go onto Patreon to have it retry the charge. For most US credit cards, getting a charge from outside the country is so rare an event that it's automatically more suspicious. It also doesn't help that an international porn charge is, for most Americans, a sign that their credit card number was stolen and sold. Including me-- I once had to have a card number changed because of suspicious charges from an eastern European country (forget exactly which one).
