So I've never really felt the need to use the posing/ 3D model feature of clip studio paint (especially since I mainly use Photoshop, the bastards) but I decided to give it another shot today when I couldn't find any worthwhile refs. If I ever were to use it consistently, it'd definitely be most helpful for Spurtie x Hell Boy since they have a size difference that I have a hard time finding poses for!
Now the plus side is, it definitely doesn't take as long as I thought to pose the models, doing this you can get super specific angles of a pose, and the anatomy comes out pretty realistic. However, I'm not super happy about the model bodies themselves. Although there's a way to modify their weight, height, length of limbs etc., I'm having trouble getting Hell Boy's body to look accurate. He's muscular but not in the dehydrated, body builder way. He leans more strongman in my eyes and heart. But I guess I could add some meat onto him after tracing... Might be a feature I only utilize with super specific poses or angles!
