UPDATE🚨Should I make Sisters of APF patreon only? Feedback needed!

So I was going to try to finish and release episode 6 of sisters of APF before I started filming Higher Learning but the creative process for sisters of APF is just not going as smoothly as I had hoped lol. Moving the show from the sims 2 to the sims 4 while trying to keep the same vibe and aesthetic is way harder than I anticipated lol. So I decided to focus my attention on episode 1 of Higher Learning for right now and I’ll get back to sisters of APF right after the season 2 premiere. I know some of y’all are really anticipating sisters of apf and I promise you will get it I just want it to be on point lol.
I’m also thinking about releasing sisters of apf on patreon only simply because the sex scenes are important to the plot of the show so if I cut them out for YouTube (like I did with Swag) it would honestly make zero sense.
The way I depicted the show when I did it with Sims 2 was way more demure compared to the actual story lol. I watered it down a lot because I wasn’t trying to get too raunchy on YouTube. How I thought I was gonna do that with a damn zane book is beyond me lol. But we’re about to get a point in the story where it would be impossible to water that shit down. Which is why making it patreon exclusive might be the only thing to do at this point.
I don’t want to deprive people that can’t afford patreon of being able to watch it but I don’t want to risk my YouTube being flagged or taken down either which is way more likely now since my subscriber count is growing. I’m between a rock and a hard place so what do you guys think? Should I release Sisters of APF only on patreon or try to thug it out for the YouTube babies? Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
But with that being said, Episode 1 of HL is officially in production. Hope y’all are ready! 💞

2020-06-10 17:07:24 +0000 UTCI think it should be Patreon only. It's not worth the risk of having your YouTube account demonetized or shut down. Many streaming services are really getting strict regarding the content that is released on their platforms. Besides, many other Patreon users release "Patron Only" content.. so don't feel like you are depriving a percentage of your audience. You could always create something that will be more "YouTube friendly" in the future. Or release small censored snippets of APF in order to increase your Patreon following. As a content creator, you shouldn't have to feel restricted when you are trying to be creative and want people to view your content the way you intended it to be seen.
