Also I loved the villains they were absolutely delightful and over the top loved everything about them

2024-06-13 12:21:30 +0000 UTCMy overall feelings on this episode is mixed. There’s parts I really enjoyed and parts I’m left very very confused on. I actually enjoy the setting and the seemingly “fun no stakes” adventure that let’s say the devils chord was supposed to be for ruby. She never got a break since joining the doctor so it was enjoyable watching ruby and the doctor just be friends for once and have fun in the setting that they are in. Then they throw that immediately out the window and split the doctor and ruby up for what seems like the 4th episode in a row?? Since the boom and even in that episode she “died” halfway through. And the fact that we only get one series with this companion and this is all the doctor/companion interactions we get? But oh she’s the doctors best friend tho. Didn’t mind rouge too much until they started a romantic plot and I immediately rolled my eyes because the doctor literally friend zones Martha and Yaz but can fall in love with a stranger yeah okay. And he doesn’t even try to look for him or do any kind of techno babble scanning??
